Anna-Maria and Andrea’s traditional Italian wedding took place last summer in beautiful Florence. The couple exchanged vows at the historic Chiesa di San Salvatore di Ognissanti, a stunning Baroque-style church originally built in the 1250s. In traditional Italian style, the church wedding ceremony concluded with the newlyweds being greeted out on the piazza by their guests who threw congratulatory rice and petals at them. The reception was held in the courtyard of the breathtaking, and incredibly romantic, Castello di Vincigliata, a historic castle tucked away in the Tuscan hills. Italian tradition was imbued in the entire celebration which included an opera performance and even the traditional sfoglia cake, made on the spot, during the reception!

Anna-Maria wore a custom LPG ball gown from Toronto retailer, Powder Bride. The dress featured an ethereal tulle overskirt, plunging V-neckline and romantic iridescent 3D details–a classic gown that was not only the perfect choice for an Italian wedding but also looked stunning on her.
