TestElle and Chase wedding in NYC. Elle wears the Ellie gown.
Elle and Chase exchanged vows at NYC’s 620 Loft & Garden on August 17th in an opulent wedding Elle describes as eclectic.. with hints of boho, Art Deco, southwestern, glam, Moroccan and modern.
Their wedding venue, an amalgamation of classic and modern, natural and urban, boasted incredible views of Fifth Avenue and St. Patrick’s Cathedral – blending the traditional with the contemporary in a celebration brimming with stunning details.

Elle wore the Ellie gown, which she found at our NYC Lee Grebenau Flagship boutique, in what she describes as a serendipitous experience, and we have to agree because she could not have looked more perfect!

How did you and Chase get engaged?
Chase and I got engaged on New Year’s Eve 2017 in the entry of the house I grew up in. We are from the same town in Arkansas, and we went back to spend the holidays with our families. We had plans to go to dinner for New Year’s, and when he came to pick me up he proposed to me in the entry.. he prepared the most beautiful speech but I honestly don’t remember hardly anything he said because I was just so excited! I’m so glad he wrote down both his proposal and vows because they are the most precious words I’ve ever read.

How did you find your LPG dress?
Before I was engaged I would often walk by the Lee Grebenau shop on my way to class.. I just thought the shop had the most gorgeous dresses I’d ever seen. When I got engaged, I knew it was the first place I needed to make an appointment.. When I tried on my dress I honestly felt like there was not a single more beautiful dress in the whole world. I loved how unique it is, and how it’s unlike anything I’ve seen on anyone else. My dress has bell-sleeves, and I’ve always loved them. My BFF Kelsey kept saying it was “Elle in a dress!” The dress is also named “Ellie,” which we all thought was meant-to-be since my name is Elle, and I’m often called Ellie!

Can you share some details about planning your wedding?
The entire planning process was so much fun for me, and I’m honestly kind of sad it’s over! My vendors were amazing, and I felt like everything really fell into place. I loved meeting with the vendors and seeing my vision come to life, talking about possibilities and sharing ideas. I felt like they really understood what I was envisioning, and did a great job bringing it all to fruition on the day!

What are your favorite memories of the wedding?
Walking down the aisle to my new husband was a HUGE highlight, but I think my favorite part was right after the ceremony. Chase and I went into the reception area alone for a few minutes before our photos. It was the first time I got to see the reception decorations, and I think my jaw hit the floor.. It was even better than I could’ve hoped for! It was also so exciting because it was the first time I was with Chase as husband and wife! It felt totally surreal!

Is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
I think finding the perfect wedding dress is essential to the big day. It’s the one day in your life that you should feel like the most beautiful person in the world. Not just for how great you look on the outside, but also because of how confident the dress makes you feel on the inside. I definitely found that!

Congratulations, Elle and Chase!
