Emma and Max celebrated their nuptials Palm Springs style at The Calile, a swanky hotel featuring chic 1970s architecture, in Brisbane, Australia. The couple exchanged vows at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in a lovely ceremony that included, among other details, a harpist, and were then driven to their reception in a vintage Citroen.
From the bride.. “Once we settled on The Calile as our venue, the styling for our day really took shape. I knew I wanted to play homage to the Palm Springs vibe of the hotel.”
Emma wore the Noelle, from our Enchanted Blossom collection, which she purchased at LPG Australia retail partner, Helen Rodrigues. The gown features 3D floral details, a corseted top, and off-the-shoulder tulle sleeves–Emma could not have looked more beautiful on her wedding day. The engagement.. “We were traveling in the north of Italy in September 2018. Max somehow convinced me to go on an overnight hike in the Texulgruppe Nature Park. We had spent all day hiking up a mountain. Once we reached the refuge we were staying at for the night, he insisted we go for a wander over to a nearby lake. I thought we had done enough walking for the day! We sat on a picnic bench designed for fishermen.. Max handed me a Kinder chocolate for us to share. He then insisted I close my eyes for another “sweetie” for me.. I reluctantly closed my eyes and when I opened them, I realized I was holding the most stunning wedding ring!”
Emma’s wedding highlights.. “Spending the morning with my best friends getting ready was wonderful. Walking into the church with my dad and seeing Max waiting for me.. Walking into the reception room to our cheering friends and family! Tearing up the dance floor with all of our guests with our favorite DJ playing our favorite songs. It was a series of amazing moments from beginning to end.
